WHEREAS National AccessAbility Week is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the valuable contributions, leadership and achievements of Canadians with disabilities.

WHEREAS the Province of Ontario has formally recognized the month of June as Seniors Month through enacting the Seniors Month Act, 2024;

WHEREAS the Two Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, plus (2SLGBTQI+) communities contribute to the cultural, civic and economic successes of the Perth; and

The Town of Perth is inviting residents to attend an upcoming Open House to learn more about the proposed Environmental Services Shop Reconstruction Project.

The Town of Perth brought volunteers from throughout the community together to celebrate their contributions.

Held in recognition of National Volunteer Week, the annual Volunteer Appreciation Night welcomed representatives from local organizations, service clubs, and community groups for an afternoon of connection, recognition, and gratitude.

INTRODUCTION

The Town of Perth has initiated a Study for a Transportation Master Plan (TMP) to prioritize the implementation of transportation related infrastructure projects within the next 20 years.

WHEREAS, raising and increasing the AWARENESS of the basic Human Value of truth, right conduct, peace, love and non-violence, as well as all the multiple sub values like honesty, integrity, kindness and caring in the Town of Perth is a primary goal of this wonderful town; and

The Town of Perth is aware of the ongoing police investigation in the Last Duel Park area and is working closely with emergency services to support their response.

Road closures remain in effect in the surrounding area to allow police to safely carry out their investigation.

The Town of Perth is inviting residents to explore new and creative ideas for the future of the Tay Basin through a public exhibition on Friday, April 10.

WHEREAS, Epilepsy South Eastern Ontario is promoting National Epilepsy Awareness Day; and

WHEREAS, Epilepsy South Eastern Ontario is a registered charity, providing support services to people with epilepsy and their families, and community education services to reduce the stigma associated with the disorder; and
