The Corporation of the Town of Perth, in partnership with the Township of Drummond/North Elmsley, Tay Valley Township, and the Township of Lanark Highlands, invites proposals from qualified consulting firms to undertake a comprehensive feasibility study for a potential Recreation Facility.
The participating municipalities and project partners recognize the importance of long-term recreation, wellness, cultural, and community infrastructure planning that reflects evolving demographics, changing recreation trends, aging infrastructure, regional service delivery opportunities, and future growth across the broader Perth and District region.
This study will build upon prior planning work completed for the region, and is intended to provide participating municipalities and stakeholders with a comprehensive, evidence-based framework to guide future decision-making. The successful consultant team will be expected to undertake extensive stakeholder and public engagement throughout the process.
Submissions can be sent by email to reception@perth.ca with the price appendix submitted as a separate file, and will be received up to 11 a.m. local time, July 7, 2026. Proposals received after the closing time, as well as hard copy or fax responses, will not be considered. Tenders will be opened in public at the Perth Town Hall (80 Gore Street East, Perth, ON) immediately following closing.
All questions/inquiries should be directed to Cathy McNally, Director of Community Services, by email. Enquiries will be received until 11 a.m. five (5) business days prior to the proposal due date (11 a.m. on June 29, 2026).
