The Town of Perth has ended the annual distribution of garbage bag tags. Each household may now place up to two bags of garbage every other week on their scheduled collection day without a tag.
Bag tags are still required if you set out more than the two-bag limit. Leftover tags from previous years remain valid, and additional tags can be purchased at Town Hall. The current price is $3.30 per tag, with a planned reduction to $2.00 once the Town’s Fees & Charges By-law is updated.
The Town of Perth continues to respond to a watermain break on Wilson St. E., between Halton St. and Robinson St. Crews have been working throughout the day to locate the source of the leak, and repairs will continue into tomorrow.

Notice is hereby given that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Perth will consider a new Fees and Charges By-law, repeal the current Fees and Charges By-law No. 3675, pass a new Water and Sewer Rates By-law and repeal the current Water and Sewer Rates By-law No. 4029.
