Public Notice of Intent to Amend the Planning Fees and Charges By-law

Notice is hereby given that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Perth intends to adopt an amended Planning Fees and Charges By-law.

Purpose of the By-law Amendment: The By-law will be amended to increase the Cash-in-lieu of Parking fee from $5,000 to $10,000 per parking space.

Council Meeting Details

Where: Council Chambers, upstairs in Town Hall, 80 Gore Street East, Perth (accessible by elevator), and live streamed via the Town’s YouTube channel for the public.

When: Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.

Additional Information: At the Committee of the Whole meeting of April 7, 2026, a motion was passed to increase the Cash-in-lieu of Parking fee to $10,000.
