The Council of the Town of Perth extend their deepest condolences to the families, friends, and fellow service members of the soldiers who tragically lost their lives following Saturday’s incident as CFB Wainwright.

In accordance with the Town of Perth Municipal Land Sale By-law No. 4549 as amended, notice is hereby given that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Perth will receive a staff report regarding the intention to sell land municipally known as 18 Wilson Street East.

WHEREAS, Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Lanark County is an important community organization committed to helping children and youth reach their full potential by matching them with caring, volunteer mentors;

A settlement has been reached in the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) case between the Town of Perth, Lanark County, and CAIVAN (Perth GC) Limited (Case Number OLT-23000534). The details of the settlement were presented to the OLT at a virtual hearing held on Aug. 6, 2026.
