Merit Hearing Adjourned, Mediation to Address Proposed Subdivision Issues
The Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) has granted a request to adjourn the merit hearing pertaining to the appeal submitted by CAIVAN (Perth GC) Limited (Case Number OLT-23000534). Initially scheduled to take place from Monday, Feb. 10 to Friday, Feb. 25, 2025, the hearing will be replaced by a Tribunal-led mediation, as requested by CAIVAN and agreed to by all parties.

Official Plan Amendment (OPA 18), a Town initiated amendment to update the Town of Perth Official Plan under Sections 17 and 26 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended to be consistent with the Provincial Policy Statement (2024).

Settlement Reached in Ontario Land Tribunal Case Regarding Proposed Subdivision
A settlement has been reached in the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) case between the Town of Perth, Lanark County, and Perthmore Enterprises Inc. (Case Number OLT-24000210). The details of the settlement were presented to the OLT at a virtual hearing held on Nov. 7, 2024.
