Town of Perth Shares Update on Key Community Initiatives

The Town of Perth is pleased to share an update on several important initiatives currently underway in the community, including ongoing work related to the Algonquin College site and the proposed CAIVAN development.

Council and staff continue to work closely with partners, including the Province of Ontario, to advance both projects in a thoughtful and collaborative way. While these processes involve a number of moving parts, steady progress is being made.

Discussions regarding the Algonquin College site are ongoing, and the Town looks forward to sharing more information as it becomes available.

Planning is also underway for a Public Information Centre related to the proposed CAIVAN development. This session will provide an opportunity for residents to learn more about the project and engage directly. Further details will be released in the coming days.

“We’re excited about the progress being made on both of these important files,” said Mayor Judy Brown. “These are complex initiatives that require coordination with multiple partners, and our focus has been on doing the work carefully and collaboratively. We look forward to sharing updates with the community as soon as we are in a position to do so.”

The Town of Perth remains committed to keeping residents informed and engaged as these projects continue to move forward.
