Town of Perth Provides Update on Police Presence in Last Duel Park

The Town of Perth is aware of the ongoing police investigation in the Last Duel Park area and is working closely with emergency services to support their response.

Road closures remain in effect in the surrounding area to allow police to safely carry out their investigation. Current closures are in place at the following road segments;

• Cole Rd. from Craig St. to Cockburn St.
• Brock St. S. from Sherbrooke St. E. to Cole Rd.
• Cockburn St. from Sherbrooke St. E. to Cole Rd.

Residents are asked to avoid the area. Updates will be posted on the Town’s website and social media channels as they become available.

“Situations like this can be unsettling for members of our community, especially when there are many unknowns,” said Mayor Judy Brown. “We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation, and encourage residents to follow the Ontario Provincial Police – East Region for verified updates as the investigation continues.”
