Public Notice of Intent to Amend the Water and Sewer Rates By-law for 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Perth will pass an amendment to the Water and Sewer Rates By-law for 2026.

Purpose of the By-law Amendment:  The proposed by-law amendment will implement the increase to the water and sewer rates as adopted in the 2026 budget and will result in the following: Water/Sewer Rate Increase: 6%, which for an average consumption would mean an increase of $65.82 for 2026.

Where: Council Chambers, upstairs in Town Hall, 80 Gore Street East, Perth (accessible by elevator), and live streamed via the Town’s YouTube channel for the public.

When: 
Committee of the Whole, Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
Council, Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
