Public Notice of Intent to Adopt an Amended Meetings Procedure By-law

Notice is hereby given that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Perth intends to adopt an amended Meetings Procedure By-law.

Purpose of the By-law Amendment: It is proposed that an amended meetings procedure by-law be adopted to reflect the Strong Mayor Powers legislation enacted on May 1, 2025.

Committee of the Whole and Council Meeting Details

Where: Council Chambers, upstairs in Town Hall, 80 Gore Street East, Perth (accessible by elevator), and live streamed via the Town’s YouTube channel for the public.

When: 
Committee of the Whole, Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
Council, Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.

How to Provide Comments at the Meeting: Anyone who would like to address Council at the meeting regarding those proposed changes may submit a Request to Speak to Council by Friday, February 27, 2026, before 12 p.m. through the Town of Perth website: Perth.ca/Delegations.
