Perth Night Market Brings Streets to Life with Music, Magic, and More
Perth Night Market returns bigger than ever, with 120+ vendors, over 40 downtown businesses open late, and entertainment for all ages. The highly anticipated event takes place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 5 to 10 p.m. in downtown Perth.
From interactive performances to family-friendly fun, the Perth Night Market will fill the town’s heritage streets with music, movement, and magic. Families can stop by Mother Hens Homestead Petting Zoo outside Spring Children from 5 to 7 p.m., enjoy free face painting all evening by Pixie Pie Face Painting near the Big Ben statue, and catch lively performances by The Rideau Cloggers at Gore and Foster. Magician Ray Anderson will be roaming throughout the night with mind-bending tricks, while MOOV Ottawa presents The Underground, an interactive street performance near Town Hall from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
Beyond these highlights, the evening will also feature a living statue, outdoor curling, live music, a DJ, and even snake demonstrations, ensuring there is something to captivate every visitor.
“We’re thrilled to see the Perth Night Market continue to grow,” says Kathryn Jamieson, Manager of Tourism & Culture. “This year’s lineup brings such a fun and exciting mix of entertainment, paired with an incredible range of vendors in support of our local businesses. It’s an event where everyone can find something to enjoy, and we can’t wait to welcome people back to experience the magic of Perth at night.”
Alongside the entertainment and late-night shopping, visitors can savour food and drinks at Perth’s restaurants and pubs or take their meals to-go to enjoy in the scenic Stewart Park. A free shuttle service will run from 2:30 to 10:30 p.m. from designated parking lots on the outskirts of town, and road closures will provide safe pedestrian access throughout the downtown core.
