Important Notice: Incorrect Pre-Authorized Tax Withdrawal

This morning, an issue occurred with our pre-authorized tax payment system that resulted in two withdrawals being taken instead of one for some residents enrolled in the Town of Perth’s pre-authorized payment plan.

We are actively working with our banking partner to reverse the extra withdrawal in full. The refund will be processed as quickly as possible, and we will ensure the correct single withdrawal is processed as intended. 

We sincerely apologize for this error and understand the concern it may cause. We will provide an update as soon as the reversal is confirmed. Any fees incurred for this inconvenience will be refunded to the impacted taxpayers.
