The Town of Perth has ended the annual distribution of garbage bag tags. Each household may now place up to two bags of garbage every other week on their scheduled collection day without a tag.
Bag tags are still required if you set out more than the two-bag limit. Leftover tags from previous years remain valid, and additional tags can be purchased at Town Hall. The current price is $3.30 per tag, with a planned reduction to $2.00 once the Town’s Fees & Charges By-law is updated.
The Perth Re-Use Centre will be closed this Saturday, Aug. 30. The CCAP relies on volunteers to help operate the facility. Interested in volunteering? Find out what dates are available and who to contact on our Re-Use Centre page.
