Haunted Woods Walk: At Maple Key Day Camp (October 28 and 29)

So fun it's scary! Don't miss a walk through the Haunted Woods with your family this season!

The MKDC woods have been transformed into a series of story vignettes, complete with live actors.

The haunted workshop has a new theme every year - what will it be this time?

Your bravery will be rewarded with a bag of treats when you escape.

*NOTE*: You do NOT need to be a current camp family to attend! All are welcome.

  • This will be a ticketed event, with families booking a specific time. Times will be staggered for a high quality experience.
  • All paths have clearly marked one-way directions.
  • While there will be "characters" populating the woods, this is a no touch event.
  • Afternoon (daylight) times as well as evening (more spooky) times are available.
If you joined us last year, you'll still be surprised - we've got a whole new set of scares for you.
Tickets available now! Book early to avoid disappointment.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show: At Studio Theatre (October 29)

Dress up and sing along

Let’s do the time warp again!

It’s the time to put on your fishnets, wig and little gold shorts for Studio Theatre Perth’s

Night of Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Join in with our HOSTESS, Dani who will help us sing along to  ‘The Timewarp’ ‘Sweet Transvestite’, ‘There’s a Light’ ‘I’m Going Home’, ‘Whatever Happened To Saturday Night?’ and ‘Science Fiction Double Feature’

It’s the ultimate cult movie. The first. The biggest. The one cult movie to rule them all. For more than 45 years, The Rocky Horror Picture Show has defined what we mean by a ‘cult’ movie, though few can ever hope to match its phenomenal level of ritualized worship.

$15 at the door or thru ticketsplease.ca

Trunk or Treat!: At St. Andrew's Church (October 31)

Trunk or Treat event poster

Join us at the St. Andrew’s Church Parking Lot on Monday, October 31 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

During Trunk or Treat events adults decorate the back of their cars for Halloween, load up on candy, and come sit in a parking lot for kids to “trick or treat” from car-to-car. It’s more fun than it sounds! Sometimes kids come in the hundreds, fully dressed in Halloween costumes and holding out bags or plastic pumpkins for treats.

The adults get to socialize and be creative while seeing all the cute and scary costumes. Refreshments for adults as well.

Pumpkin Parade: at Stewart Park (November 1)

Pumpkin Parade event banner

Perth’s Inaugural Pumpkin Parade kicks off on November 1 from 7:00-8:30 pm, and your pumpkins are needed!

How does it work? After Halloween, bring your carved pumpkin or jack-o-lantern to the Bandshell behind Town Hall, where staff will add a battery-operated tealight and place it in the path. Pumpkins can be dropped off and registered at 6:00 pm, so if you drop it off before then, please make sure to put your name and age group (child, teen, or adult) on the back.

From 7:00-8:30 pm, come by, walk through the pumpkins, and vote for your favourites in each category. Winners will be announced on Perth Tourism’s Facebook page November 2. The event is rain or shine, and there is no charge to participate.

After the event, the Town will pick up the pumpkins and take them to the compost pile. No need to carry your pumpkins home!

A donation to YAK Youth Services when registering would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you to our sponsors for their generous contributions towards the event: North Folk Café, Treasure Lane by the Tay, Gather, Red Brick Emporium, Balderson Kidz, and Spring Children.

More details coming soon! RSVP to the Facebook event to stay up-to-date on details.
