The purpose of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) is to:
- to provide a right of access to certain records under the Town's control; and
- to protect individual's personal privacy.
Many of the Town's records are available without making a formal request for information. Some records may be posted on the Town's web site, or are available by contacting the Town Hall.
If a formal request is necessary, you must complete and submit a Request Form along with a $5.00 administration fee to the Town Clerk. Please include as many details as possible regarding the information you are requesting. Additional fees regarding search time, photocopies, etc. may also apply.
Requests can generally be processed within 30 days.
