Awards

The purpose of the Heritage Perth Architectural Conservation Award Program is to recognize, promote or otherwise encourage excellence in heritage conservation in Perth. Awards (one or more) will be granted to a project, individual or group in the following categories;

• Buildings
• Landscapes
• Education (related to Heritage Awareness)
• Heritage Craftspeople

To qualify for an award, nominations must be received by December 31st of each year. For more information and to fill out the nomination form, please view the Architectural Conservation Award Program Nomination Form. 

The Perth Medal is awarded by the Mayor annually to a person who has shown the greatest distinction in a number of endeavours to benefit the Perth community as a whole with no monetary gain to themselves. This may be in the fields of community work, fundraising, volunteerism, etc. The Perth Medal Policy outlines more details and describes how the nominations are scored.

The Nomination Application Form for prospective 2024 Perth Medal recipients is now open. Nominations will be accepted until 4 p.m. on Friday, May 31.
