Two Hours Free Parking in Downtown Perth

We want you to enjoy all our downtown restaurants, stores and services have to offer, so you have two hours of on-street parking completely FREE within the Perth Business Improvement Association Area! 

If you are planning to stay for more than two hours, follow the green "P" signs to one of our four Municipal Parking Lots right in the downtown core. One of these parking lots is sure to be very close to your desired destination.  

 

 Parking Lot Passes 
Parking lot passes can be purchased from the Town Hall or online. The pricing is specific to the lot. Parking passes can be purchased on the 16th of each month for the following month.

 Loading Zones 
The Town has used By-law No. 3961, as amended, to establish loading zones at various locations in Town.  Use of loading zones and parking spaces is a benefit which is currently provided to business by the taxpayer. 

 Overnight Winter Parking Restrictions 
  • There is no overnight parking on any Town of Perth street from November 20th through to March 31st between 12:01am - 6am. This allows our snowplow operators to clear our streets throughout the evening hours so that they are clear for the next day.
  • Only parking permit holders can park overnight in the municipal lot for which their permit was purchased.
  • The Town of Perth enforces winter overnight parking restrictions for snowplowing. Police Services staff will ticket vehicles in contravention of By-law No. 3961.

 Paying a Parking Ticket 

Parking infractions can be paid:

  • Online
  • At Town Hall by cash, credit/debit card
  • By cheque through mail addressed to Town of Perth, 80 Gore Street, East, Perth, On, K7H 1H9.

 Parking and By-law Enforcement Office 
  • The Parking and By-law Enforcement Office is located on the main floor of Town Hall, 80 Gore Street East, Perth, ON K7H 1H9.
  • Phone (613) 267-3311, extension 2245 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. 
  • In person from 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday at Town Hall, 80 Gore Street East

 Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations 
  • There are Level 2 EV charging stations available in the parking lot at the Crystal Palace on Colbourne Street.
