Sometimes, the best way to experience a town is through a guided tour. And we've got a couple of ideas on how you can do that:

The Halloween Perth Ghost Walk
Want to really get into the Halloween spirit? With 200 years of history, it'd be a shame to forget about the people of our past, even if they are still among us. In the annual Ghost Tour near Halloween, tour guide and historical Susan Code McDougall will tell some eerie tales of Perth's past and outline the buildings where ghost sightings have been reported. Call the Visitor Information Centre at (613) 267-1947 for more details on this tour.
Stories from the Settlement
Learn about heritage Perth, it’s buildings, history and stories led by a knowledgeable guide and storyteller. Offered during July and August. The tour is limited to 14 people so preregistration at the Museum is recommended. Register in person or by calling (613) 267-1947. The tour is enhanced by use of an audio guide system.
Self-guided Walking Tours
Want to explore the town on your own? There are three options: Pop into the Perth Visitor Information Centre at 11 Gore St., where you can pick up a self-guided tour brochure; print your own here; or, download the Driftscape app and explore the self-guided tour through your phone or tablet. Follow this link to get the free app: download.driftscape.com. The Visitor Information Centre is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (5 p.m. in the winter), and there is free Wifi onsite to download the app.
