Public Notice of the Intent to Adopt the 2023 Budget
Please be advised that in accordance with the Town of Perth Public Notice By-law No. 3811, notice is hereby given that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Perth will consider a by-law to adopt the 2023 Budget at the Regular Council meeting on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 5:30 p.m.
The proposed 2023 Budget will result in the following:
Net Tax Rate Increase: 5%, which for an average assessed home of $248,000 would mean an increase of approximately $9.00 per month for 2023; and
Water/Sewer Rate Increase: 11%, which for an average consumption would mean an increase of $6.60 per month for 2023.
The meeting will be held in Council Chambers, Town Hall, 80 Gore Street East, Perth, at 5:30 p.m. and live-streamed via the Town’s Facebook page for the public.
