Notice to the Public - Thom Street Design
The Town of Perth Environmental Services Department has advanced with the pre-engineering design of Thom Street commencing immediately until August 2022. After the engineering design work has been completed, the construction works will be released via tender to invite contractors to bid on the work, which is forecasted to begin 2023.
During the design phase you may notice pre-construction activities such as: borehole drilling, surveying, utility location identification and Closed-circuit television (CCTV) investigation of the underground services. These activities are taking place to ensure accurate design.
The Thom Street design project will include the following area:
Thom Street
Peter Street to John Street
Due to the nature of the construction activity, there will be periods upon which the general public may experience some inconvenience. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding while these activities are underway.
