|Mayor's Task Force on Climate Change|
|The Mayor's Task Force on Climate Change was established in 2014 to make recommendations to Council, by thinking globally and acting locally in reference to our local climate change. The Task Force is actively formulating the establishment of a five (5) year plus Municipal Green Plan that will lay the groundwork for Perth being a community with long term environmental sustainability.
The Task Force is currently considering several projects to implement in the 2017 timeframe.

Join the Mayor's Task Force on Local Climate on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 for an Open House to learn about the creation of a Local Climate Change Plan for the Town of Perth.
The Open House will provide information about how the the Town of Perth is joining nation-wide efforts by creating a Climate Action Plan which identifies current levels of greenhouse gas emissions, sets reduction targets, and presents a plan of action.
Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend the Open House.
